MEDIA

Thanks to Tracey for stepping into the social media role this year. Whether we like it or not an active social media presence is behind much of the success of the gallery. It keeps locals informed and provides information for travellers. 

GALLERY VOLUNTEERS

A huge thanks to those who do the tidying, cleaning, organising, hanging, displaying, hosting and generally making the gallery what it is. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered their time to do a duty this year. Your support allows the gallery to open on a regular basis and provides a unique opportunity for artists, to sell their work and visitors to the gallery to enjoy our amazing space.

Whether you are producing artwork for sale, joining in with a group to increase skills and develop ideas or just taking time to surround yourselves with great people we thank you for being part of our gallery and keeping the Curdnatta Art Group alive and thriving.

PASS Senior students exhibition was a great vibrant addition to the gallery space.




Christmas Lunch will be held December 6th at The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden at 12.30.


We are currently taking registrations for our Fringe Exhibition.

 Well we made it to MAY 2025 and our Birthday Celebrations. Thanks to those members who came along to celebrate at the opening night of the May Exhibition and on the Saturday Morning. The May Family Activity Day was a great success thanks to Anne and Tammy for coming up with such a fun idea. Photographers' Theme this month is "Back Lighting". Time to get EXCITED !!!!!   The come and try days have been very successful and Lynda's beading morning was no exception.  Also Georgie's Pastel morning. Two new exhibitions this month featuring Lisa Wood and her popular limestone sculptures as well as Fibrespace Textile Artists. Annual General Meeting This was postponed till 7th August while we determined the best way to cope with space restrictions and mask wearing. Thanks to everyone for their support.  Well we are off to a great start in this our 60th Year.  Our Current FRINGE exhibition " Creative Selfies" is an eclectic mix providing an entertaining viewing experience. We have received a grant to continue our Family Activity Days. The First Activity Day was a success and we look forward to more during the year on every 3rd Saturday from 10 -12. Although these are catering for all ages they are engaging for adults as well so feel free to attend. Welcome to new member Jen Cleary. You can find her lovely bags at The Platform Lynne Ward has brought in some new jewellery pieces as well. We particularly commend these artisans on the quality and presentation of their work as we strive to keep all work presented at The Platform to a high standard.
