 We held the last of our sponsored Family Activities this month. Thanks to The Benevolent Society and City Council for providing the funding for these.

Thanks to Jen and Marg and the Music Club for providing a great experience this month.

Feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive and we have decided to continue to provide a community activity on the 3rd Saturday each month. Tammy is organising these so just see her if you are interested in participating.



We have had a number of tourists through the gallery this month. Thank to our desk volunteers for making them feel welcome and facilitating the sales.


The photographers current slideshow of pics can be viewed on the TV screen at the gallery.
This month's theme is "FOCUS".


There is a new exhibition By Fibrespace Inc. in Gallery 3. Whimsical interpretations of 3 themes.

  The come and try days have been very successful and Lynda's beading morning was no exception.  Also Georgie's Pastel morning.  August 2025 Thanks to Tammy, Annette and Gayle for hosting this month's Family Activity Day. Friday Artists' Day has been a bit hit and miss this month ... wishing members who are not well a speedy recovery. Beyond Bank continues to offer an artist display for Curdnatta Artists. Thank you to all those members who take time to volunteer on door duty at The Platform. This month was quite busy with sales of large and small items.  We have quite a few new members... welcome all. New ideas and techniques add to the diversity of our local art displays. Flinders Ranges A BRUSH WITH ART. Yes we are participating!!!! The gallery has been refreshed with Gallery 1 depicting our local region. Trouble is pieces are selling as fast as we move them into place. New pieces are always welcome.  We launched our ART IN FULL BLOOM at the SPRING SOIREE on September 24th. If you weren't there you missed a lovely evening surrounded by great art and good people.  The catering team provided a stunning supper as usual. Stylists had the gallery looking spectacular and we thank the Port Augusta Garden Club for providing some gorgeous displays that made the gallery come alive.  John Sharp's laid back music completed the vibe and  visitors complimented us on our efforts. This months Family Activities day was well attended with feedback indicating people enjoy attending. It wont be long before we need to consider whether we want to continue in 2026. If this is to happen we will need more volunteer artists as the few people who participated the last 2 years are running out of ideas. The Photographer's new theme is "HATS".
