FROZEN FLORA and JOINING TOGETHER

Our latest exhibitions are off to a great start following the official opening on June 9th.

A happy throng of people gathered at the Platform to view the photography by Morgan Dunn and quilts by the Port Augusta Quilters.

Thank you to Rebecca Buono who took some photos on the day.

Morgan's photos depict flowers frozen in water.
She has tapped into a hidden world that we don't normally see.

The quilters pieces are the result of a challenge where the beginning letter of a person's name denotes a colour in the piece.

It was a busy day on Saturday with the Felting Workshop coinciding with the opening.
Felted bowls proved a popular topic and everyone enjoyed themselves. Every one made two felted vessels and some made three.
Thanks to Pam Stringer for sharing her expertise.

We will once again participate in A Brush With Art during September. This is an opportunity for everyone to exhibit some new pieces.
The theme is "Happenstance"
