September has been full of surprise and delight. We regularly get customers visiting the gallery who have been given the recommendation by staff at The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden however Cheryl and Andy actually stayed an extra night in port Augusta so they could visit The Platform. They were our first happy customers for A Brush With Art. Keeping the post code details has been interesting. So far this month we have had visitors from Melbourne, Queensland, Melrose, Arizona, Spain and France along with our fabulous local patrons. The writers group in collaboration with The local library hosted an afternoon with  poet  Manal Younus. Everyone was inspired with the way Manal presented her work. Once again we have connected with the Flinders Ranges "A Brush With Art". This gives all our artists the opportunity to exhibit new works and provides a great venue for tourists who visit The Flinders Ranges during Spring for this annual event. The gallery has been transformed once again thanks to those members who have the eye for styling pieces and creating some order to what is generally a very eclectic collection of Art and Craft.
