This month we lost one of our long time members Pat Carter.  Her uninterrupted service and commitment to the group began in 1985    and continued until 2022. Pat was an active member of Curdnatta and regularly attended    meetings, workshops and exhibitions most recently creating a piece for our Trashion Exhibition in April / May of this year.  She performed many gallery roles over the years, Secretary, Publicity, organiser of the filing cabinet, President during the mid 90s    and then a member of our Management Group. She was an organising force… Her connections with The Commonwealth Railways and the local community helped make secure our tenancy in the old railway station building and encouraged people to attend our local arts events. Pat participated in artists’ retreats and workshops where she learnt new skills and was always willing to have a go at something new.
