A COUPLE OF GREAT STORIES

September has been full of surprise and delight.
We regularly get customers visiting the gallery who have been given the recommendation by staff at The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden however Cheryl and Andy actually stayed an extra night in port Augusta so they could visit The Platform. They were our first happy customers for A Brush With Art.

Keeping the post code details has been interesting. So far this month we have had visitors from Melbourne, Queensland, Melrose, Arizona, Spain and France along with our fabulous local patrons.

The writers group in collaboration with The local library hosted an afternoon with  poet  Manal Younus. Everyone was inspired with the way Manal presented her work.

Big Congratulations to Gayle Naughton who sold her first Painting.. Yay!!! onward and upwards from here Gayle. We also appreciate your involvement on door duty along with our other wonderful volunteers.

Our very own Natalie Castree presented at the National Primary Art education conference. Describing the work she has done with her students.

The Photographers have set up a group on our Facebook Page aimed at keeping everyone connected and hoping to encourage new people to come along.
Any of our members can join, feel free to contribute your photos and experiences.

This month's theme is MAGENTA!

Another great turn-up at the tapestry weaving workshop. Thanks for sharing your skills Tammy.
