July 2018

I thought we may have had a quiet month as we lead up to the AGM on July 28th but it seems things have been  as busy as ever.

FIBRESPACE INC.  Regularly meet at The Platform and several  Curdnatta Members are also members of this textile group.
This month saw the unveiling of new pieces for the theme "Naturally Techni-Savvy". This exhibition will be on show at the Platform early next year.

Kaz Peterson really challenged participants at the Portrait Drawing and Painting workshop. Results definitely had the WOW! factor. We think people will be wanting Kaz to return next year.

Thanks to Tammy Colman for organising and running the HEXAGONS workshop.
This beginning quilting workshop certainly appealed to a wide range of people.

People often ask what we sell the most of at The Platform.
The range is very diverse and sometimes things go so quickly we don't get the opportunity to photograph them. This is a selection of some of the things that have sold in the last couple of weeks.
