Welcome to 2022

A slightly later start in 2022 with our first meeting falling on our 57th Birthday.

Some different works at the gallery at the moment. We continue to build our diversity and encourage artists to continue to offer their work for sale. Also please consider changing over any work that has been in the gallery for a while.

From the minutes of the meeting:

We have paid the insurance for 2022 and remind people that we need to continue to sign in in the book as a condition of this insurance cover. We only need to use the QR code or sign in slips for meetings and gatherings. Masks are required for groups of people and in the retail space when we have visitors.

We have a new contact person in D.I.T. Adelaide. information is in the procedures book. Maintenance issues have been taken over by a private firm  Vantia. The floor has not been oiled. Blocked drains, weeds and grafitti have been logged for attention.

Copies of the yearly exhibition overview can be printed at the gallery, the master is in the pink folder. Other items in the pink folder are posters, entry forms, covid slips etc...

Entry Forms for TRASHION need to be at the gallery by March 26th. Information is at the Face Book page events section.

The first COME AND TRY DAY will be held on March 19th. It is election day so you won't forget :-)
The Activity is free and all materials will be supplied.
We will not be taking part in Flinders Ranges A Brush With Art this year but there will still be an "all members" exhibition in September / October titled "OUR  GREAT OUTDOORS". This should help to meet the needs of the Spring tourists and the lead up to Christmas.

There have been some loiterers around the gallery lately. Please consider your own safety first and close the gallery if needed. Also ring the police to inform them if people are drinking or there is any antisocial behaviour. Information will be placed in the procedures book.

Thank you to everyone who has registered for door duty Morgan is pleased with the current strength of volunteers. Contact her if you would like to be come more involved.
